IT & Website

What do we do?

The IT & Website Area develops and manages the Club’s digital infrastructure. We keep the website constantly up to date and expand its features, build dedicated web apps for specific events, and support the other areas whenever they need a technical solution.

We also provide technical support at selected events, especially for presentations and audiovisual tools, manage the technical side of the newsletter, and oversee the cloud infrastructure where the Club’s data is stored. We work with artificial intelligence tools to make development, automation, and process management more efficient, with the goal of becoming increasingly self-sufficient in building the digital solutions the Club needs in-house.

Would you like to join the IT & Website area?

Expected commitment:
The average commitment is around 3 hours per week, carried out mainly remotely and organized flexibly around the projects currently in progress. Members are also expected to attend selected Club events when technical support is needed, particularly for presentations, audiovisual tools, or dedicated web apps.

Required/preferred skills:

  • Good command of artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT and Claude, used as practical support for development, problem solving, and task automation.
  • Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and, more broadly, the ability to design, build, and maintain a website.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub to work on code in an organized and collaborative way and manage versions, tasks, and changes.
  • Initiative and curiosity: we are looking for autonomous, proactive people who can spot problems and propose new features or useful solutions for the Club.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and provide technical support to other areas when digital, cloud, audiovisual, or automation needs arise.

⚠️Additional profile — Website copy:
We are also looking for someone to take care of the website copy, contributing to writing, reviewing, and updating texts. This profile does not need the same level of technical development skills required from developers.
