Required/preferred skills:
• All STEM and quantitative profiles are welcome, with diverse and complementary backgrounds being highly valued. The three main areas of expertise are mathematics and statistics, computer science and data analysis, and economics and quantitative finance.
• The ideal candidate does not need to be an expert in all three areas: we are looking for people with in-depth expertise in at least one of them, solid skills in at least a second area, and the willingness to learn how to collaborate effectively with profiles from the third.
• Technical English: ability to read papers, books, and technical documentation, and to contribute to writing content in English.
More specifically, the skills required in the three areas are:
• Mathematics and statistics: modelling, probability, statistics, optimization, operations research, and quantitative methods.
• Computer science and data analysis: programming, data analysis, simulations, code management, development of computational models, and the ability to design solutions by selecting appropriate algorithms and data structures.
• Economics and finance: quantitative finance, econometrics, macroeconomics, time-series analysis, and the ability to interpret models and results from an economic and financial perspective.
